Payments
The Institute will not be responsible for any payment made to any person other than the Cashier of the Institute. Official cash receipt will invariably be obtained for any cash payments made to the Cashier. Bank Payment. Cheques for payment of members bills can be dropped in “Cheque Drop Box” kept at reception, main gate and Bill Section of the Institute. Members are to quote their name and membership number on the back side of the cheques. Cheques without membership number written on the back side will not be acknowledged and will also not be encashed by the institute. Such cheques will be endorsed as cancelled and kept with Account Section for queries from members. Details of receipt number for cheque/ demand draft payment will be mentioned on the members bill. Separate receipts will not be dispatched to members by post. Bill printed with receipt number and date will be treated as receipt for cheques/ demand drafts. Unrealised Cheque/ Demand Drafts. Membership of members whose cheque deposited with the Institute is dishonoured, due to various reasons, will be terminated / suspended as indicated below. Such members will be issued a Show Cause Notice. Membership of such members may be revived only when they clear their dues, incidental expenses like postage and bank charges and the Management accepts the reply to show cause notice:- (a) Terminated. Cheques are dishonoured due to Insufficient Funds, Refer to drawer, Account Closed, Stop Payment, Funds Not Catered For. (b) Suspended. Cheques are dishonoured but the case has genuine mitigating circumstances.
